Jenny I Got Your Number! {Senior}

Anytime I hear the name Jenny I can't help but sing eight six seven five three oooo niyeeieeine! As fun as that song was Jenny was so much more fun! With the help of my rockin Future Professional Jamie, who did hair and makeup, this shoot turned out fantabulous! This years seniors have been beeeeuuuutiiiful and she did not disappoint.

We did go to Piper Lake Club (the place where the cops always come and yell at me) but THIS time I actually got to encounter the man who turns me in every time. He thought he would come out and confront me himself this time. Seriously?!! I know I am scary but come on! So I stood firm and played nice and I had him eating out of the palm of my hand when I was finished with him. It couldn't have been bad either that I had two gorgeous girls standing behind me ready to pounce also!

Jenny you were a blast to shoot and there is noone who can rock a leopard coat and heels like you ;) And on a sidenote, this girl is a pitcher and is going to college to play softball.....Jenny Finch watch out, there is a new Jenny in town!!

Allison {Senior}

Senior season is in full gear and it is time to get the blogging party started! There is no better way than to start off with a senior who just so happens to have a hawt car! Nevermind that it is her dad's car, that is just a stupid little detail. Allison and I went downtown and had a lot of fun. She was such a trooper that at one time we had to stop due to an injury. Let's just say there was some blood and a sock involved, but we survived and she rocked her shoot injury and all!

Bad Blogger

I swear I really have been busy. I promise. I looked at my last blog posting which was May 4 and counted the days. Oops. I will get back on track. I did though, think that I needed to blog today about my childhood hero.

I am so sad about the death of Michael Jackson. When I think back to all the times growing up that I closed and locked my bedroom door only to look at myself in the sliding glass closet mirrors and teach myself the Thriller dance, it makes me blush because I was SUCH a dork!!

I will forever be greatful to my childhood best friend Tammy and her mom. We went to Indian Springs to shop and she bought me my first Michael Jackson album which was Thriller. I didn't know she bought it for me. She bought one for Tammy and I remember walking through the mall telling Tammy how cool she was and how I was going to save my money to buy my own, when Kathy smiled at me and pulled out TWO albums!! That is when my love affair began with Mr. Jackson.

My wall was plastered with every picture I could get of him. I had the Thriller Jacket and a knock-off Beat It jacket but I was still so cool. Or at least I thought I was. I soaked up everything I could get my hands on and hear. I once was reading about his tour, and now thinking back I am pretty sure I was reading the National Enquirer, and read that he was going to be dropped from a helicopter in a bubble. A BUBBLE. I repeated this crap to all my friends because I was THE authority on MJ. Well, you can imagine the razzing I got from my friends and made fun of because I thought Michael was coming in a bubble. Those were some good times........

Taylor {Senior}

This is Taylor and she happens to be my yoga instructor's daughter. A little side note about Taylor, she spent most of her teenage years living in Hawaii. Rough life. Anywho, we met to take her pics out at the old truck where we took Haley's pics. We had a lot of fun and even had a snake sighting -- well we think it was, she jumped and said, "Oh, a snake.....or a worm".

Ashley {Senior}

So this is the second half of my senior shoot out at Peruvian Connection. Ashley was a hoot trying to figure out what to wear and then just gave in to Leah's recommendations! I am also including in this post some fun pics we took of both of them.

I hope everybody has a wonderful weekend, without rain!!

New look and a new senior!!

I have been working on a new blog for a long time, but just haven't been able to finish it and tweak it. Today is the day I am debuting it!! I still have some things I need to adjust and figure out, but I will do it as I need to. Let me know what you think!

Leah is the first senior to debut on the new blog! I did a shoot with her and her BFF Ashley out in Tonganoxie, Kansas at a little property called Peruvian Connection. I am sure you have heard of it, but did you know their offices are based out of some property in Tonganoxie?! It was a really cool place and we had a lot of fun wandering around and chasing chickens!
